Job Description Online Summer Camp Leader (Remote $20-40/hr) About the Online Summer Camp Leader Opportunity Varsity Tutors is looking for experts like you to teach engaging online summer camps.
Camps are an opportunity for K-12 students to engage in summer camp fun and adventure online!Camps will cover topics ranging from Roblox, Minecraft, Unity Engine and Javacript, all while emphasizing collaborative spaces and hands-on experiences.
By partnering with Varsity Tutors, we believe teaching online is not only comparable to in person instruction, but better.

Conduct class sessions face to face through the live online platform anywhere & anytime on a PC, Mac or mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android) Easily access interactive learning tools Session recordings, whiteboard/sketchpad, the ability to draw with a mouse or touch screen, etc.
Optional online resources that can be used to enhance your lessons What's in it for you? Lead a small group of campers (around 10) from the comfort of your home! Design your own lesson plans and activities within your expert topic.
As an independent contractor, you have the freedom to use your own teaching styles and methods, and set your own schedule in conjunction with your students' needs.
Competitive rates of $20-40/hr (with potential to earn bonuses) Flexible scheduling throughout summer Varsity Tutors will provide a camp curriculum and structure for you to work within, allowing you the flexibility to design your own activities without spending hours planning! Qualifications Teaching certification (in any subject), as well as experience creating activities and lesson plans.
Flexible schedule and day time availability.
Camps will run each week Monday through Friday throughout June, July and some of August.
Experience with Zoom or similar platforms preferred.
