Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits, providing information to external auditors.
Job Requirements:
Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations including:
A/P, GL and, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Manage day-to-day banking relationships and monthly reconcile various corporate bank accounts Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Set-up banking and finance systems for new stores and provide stores with support for credit and financing related issues Requirements Proven working experience as a controller 5
years of overall combined accounting and finance experience Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA or CMA preferred Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with creating financial statements Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process Excellent spreadsheet, and administration skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
