Our Default Servicing team engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies.
The Analytics Consultant 2 is responsible for developing business requirements and translating business needs into moderately complex analyses and projects for a department or functional area.
Job responsibilities will include:
Performing complex analysis of findings and trends using statistical and/or financial analysis, modeling, process documentation, profitability analysis, etc.
Recommending solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, compliance, etc.
Identifying business requirements and analytical needs
Identifying and recommending potential data sources; compiles and mines data from multiple, cross business sources
Developing specific, customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations for alternatives
Ensuring adherence to data management regulations and policies
May provide guidance to less experienced specialists and consultants
May partner with technology and/or with other business groups
Basic
Qualifications: 4
years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Bachelors degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 2
years directly applicable work experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Experience with data extraction and manipulation with specific proficiencies within SQL Server
Ability to compile, research and deliver in-depth analysis on critical operational data
Demonstrated aptitude to independently provide summary and recommendations on operational data
Possess strong troubleshooting, technical, and resolution skills
Ability to multi-task on projects with exceptional reporting and analytical skills and a general understanding of operations policies and procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft s suite of Office products: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio
Ability to independently research, compile, and deliver in-depth analysis on critical operational data in preparation of summary and recommendations based upon that data
Possess exceptional troubleshooting, technical, and resolution skills
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills:
Working experience within SAS
Bachelor's preferred in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences
Knowledge of SSRS
