Conduct telephone interviews with proposed insured's to solicit all personal and medical information required to successfully process an application for life insurance. Act as liaison between underwriters, general agents, and proposed insured(s) to facilitate the underwriting process. Perform limited case management duties to obtain all outstanding/open, underwriting/administrative requirements accurately and timely.
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of medical terminology
Minimum of two years customer service and processing experience in an administrative field
Excellent time management and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) software and keyboarding
High regard for attention to detail
High tolerance for repetitive tasks
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Remote Requirements:
Ability to telecommute with dedicated home office to include but not limited to: desk, chair, appropriate lighting, and minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
You must be within a reasonable commutable distance from the corporate office for:
training (approximately 8-12 weeks),
refresher/new training,
special projects.
Flexibility to work at corporate office as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
