Job Description:
Seeking a Finite Element Analysis (FEA)/Heat Transfer Computational Research Scientist I or II to perform interdisciplinary research, combining physical, computational, and life-science research, to improve the efficiency and efficacy in the development of relevant medical products.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in developing heat transfer FEA models is required.
Experience in developing models for animal models or humans is a plus.
Knowledge of applicable complex scientific procedures and techniques.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot technical procedures.
Ability to work independently and supervise others.
Must have a publication track record.
Supervisory Responsibilities Assigned Lead:
May recommend the following:
employee hiring, disciplinary action, and starting salaries; provide input on employee performance evaluations.
Qualifications Work Environment This position will take place primarily in an office setting.
Education and Experience Doctoral Degree in Engineering, Computational Physics, Mathematics or related field.
Level I:
Minimum of 0-2 years experience required.
- PhD $80k to $86K Level II:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience required.
- PhD $87k to $100k Recommended Skills Biology Communication Engineering Finite Element Methods Level 2 Stocks Mathematics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
