OverviewLMI is seeking an experienced Medical and Technical Combat Medic Advisor our DoD customer (USAMMDA) with the advanced development, fielding, maintenance and sustainment of military medical equipment.
This hybrid position (partial onsite, partial remote work) supports our client at Fort Detrick, MD and our LMI office is within 10 miles of Fort Detrick.

ResponsibilitiesThe Medical and Technical Advisor - Combat Medic shall provide senior level subject matter expertise in a specific clinical area.
These clinical areas include but are not limited to:
Veterinary, Radiology, Physiology, Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Pharmacy, Laboratory Diagnostics, Maxillo-facial, Orthopedic, Dental specialties, Emergency Medicine/Paramedic or Surgical Nursing.
This position is for support experience in combat medicine and could cover any of the clinical areas listed.
Continually survey the healthcare marketplace to provide dynamic evaluation, improvement, and adjustment of the unit assemblages to provide recommendations of new technologies and capabilities to enhance lifesaving care.
Document recommendations in Executive Summaries (EXSUMS) and information papers.
Analyze and interpret clinical discussions in medical after-action reports to trend current practices and ensure inclusion of appropriate equipment and supplies in deployable medical assemblages.
Access Defense Logistics Agency websites to conduct research and evaluation of medical materiel and equipment for sustainment of assigned SKOs.
Assist in establishing criteria and evaluating medical equipment in concert with other Army and DoD agencies.
Conduct market analysis to include available products and industries, gain an understanding of product market survivability and viability as a crucial component for the execution of force-wide fielding.
Participate and actively engage on IPT as a Chartered Member and serve as a SME by providing expert advice and working closely with the IPT in developing plans and protocols for clinical studies and/or testing plans, parameters for the market research, AoA study plans, business case assessments, and acquisition strategies.
Evaluate the quality systems of the organization(s) chosen to pursue development, manufacturing and testing efforts, develop and maintain interagency partnerships.
Assist in developing, preparing, managing, and writing documentation requirements to include EXSUMS, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, White Papers, briefings, and information papers on the subject matter, and adhere to required pre-brief schedules for all documentation leaving the Command.
Maintain clinical expertise through relevant training and certification.
Skills and
Experience:
Understanding of operational requirements, and participate in the development of capability documents, acquisition strategies, and logistical support elements and device maintenance requirements for each product, adhering to the corresponding DoD 5000 series acquisition process or USAMRDC equivalent process.
Capability to apply clinical decision-making and knowledge to provide medical item equivalence substitution and replacement recommendation during routine catalog maintenance actions.
Capability to consolidate the number of sustainment lines through the coordinated standardization of items within and across deployable medical assemblages according to current best clinical practices.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
10 years Ability to obtain NACI (background investigation).
Seven (7) years of experience with medical product development, DoD T&E requirements, and regulatory approval processes is preferred.
Apply interpersonal skills and knowledge of the DoD 5000 to products being supported.
Integrating the DoD acquisition processes with the FDA regulatory processes and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) process.
Expert level knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS); PPBE; and DoD 5000 processes, including adaptive acquisition framework pathways, to support strategic analysis and acquisition planning for Army and DHA ACAT designated medical programs.
Utilize MS Office, to include MS Outlook, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word, at an intermediate level.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
