Registered Nurse/RN (Harbor Unit/Baltimore/Washington Campus)

The Fenton Unit is an 18-bed unit on our Baltimore/Washington Campus, in Howard County, that serves adults 18 and older with a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders.
The inpatient treatment focus is on crisis stabilization and medication management by a psychiatrist, with an average length of stay of between five and 10 days.
As a Registered Nurse/RN you will:
Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.
Document and report patient progress to treatment team.
Requirements:
Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.
Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.
All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
AHA CPR required before first day of employment Any RN with less than one year of experience will automatically be placed in Sheppard Pratt's Nurse Residency Program Recommended Skills Cpr Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Works Health Care Anxiety Disorder Medication Administration Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
