POSITION GOALS & RESPONSIBILITIES At MITC the Helpdesk provides remote troubleshooting, instruction, and software installation services to customers in both cloud hosted and customer hosted environments.
Helpdesk technicians use both customer service skills and technical knowledge in providing assistance.
Support is provided by phone, email, and remote access.
This is an entry-level position, and no experience is required.
Applicants with liberal arts degrees are encouraged to apply.
Extensive training will be provided.
Job Description Helpdesk technicians work on an average of 3-4 service requests per day.
Service requests are managed through an internal ticketing system.
Helpdesk team members work in pods of 3-5 team members where they can collaborate, troubleshoot, and work together as needed.
Helpdesk technicians assist customers with a variety of questions and needs to ensure they are utilizing their MITC software effectively.
Day to day, problem solving and critical thinking are imperative to ensure a high quality of service is provided QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
No previous experience required as extensive training is provided.
