The two focuses of our business are education and product creation for poultry and other small animals.
Our educational division provides classrooms and families the experience of hatching chicks or caring for egg laying hens for a temporary period.
The product development division designs, manufactures and distributes products for poultry and small household pets.
The RentACoop flock, while small, is packed with a variety of diverse and fun individuals who all share a passion for animals and their care.
The flock's creative teamwork and continuous communication pushes our product development and the content of our educational programs to be a cut above competitors.
We are currently looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Team Member members for our every expanding company.
The role of Warehouse Team Member will be based at the warehouse in Frederick, MD.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
? Unload containers utilizing a manual or power pallet jack ? Utilizes different equipment to facilitate the construction of outgoing palletized shipments ? Utilizes different allocated parts, stickers and instructions to assemble kits ? Make sure that appropriate safety measures are taken into account at every step of the production process and advocate safety practices to the rest of the staff.
? Test products from new shipments for damaged or faulty items.
? Ensure proper labeling of finished items and ensure that they are packaged properly.
? Manufacture company products with the highest standards.
? Print labels and pack individual orders.
? Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct supervisor.
? Be prepared to perform additional duties as needed.
Minimal Qualifications :
? Forklift Certification, preferable ? Gives attention to detail and follows instructions.
? Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
? Effective time management; maximizes productivity ? Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
Physical
Qualifications:
? Ability to lift 50 lbs, on occasion ? Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the warehouse.
Employment may be contingent upon RentACoop LLC's receipt of an acceptable and job-related drug test, physical exam, motor vehicle report, background check and/or reference check, E-Verify as applicable and permissible by law.
Hours and Schedule:
We have multiple flexible part-time positions open to fill the following hours:
Monday-Friday 8AM-7PM Saturday 9AM-1PM Full-time employees receive up to 80 hours paid time off annually, up to 7 paid holidays and qualify for excellent healthcare benefits.
