BlueLinx's HR Team is growing again.
With the recent remarkable growth at BlueLinx, we are looking for Inhouse Recruiter to focus on our branch/field needs.
This is an opportunity to further develop and advance your recruiting career and receive corporate experience with backgrounds and onboarding.
You'll have the opportunity to work daily with the General Managers across multiple location and be th face of the recruiting organization to them.
We are looking for a person who understands the importance of being a strong relationship builder, confident in recognizing talent, and a person that has the ability to speak to all levels of the organization.
As a member of the BlueLinx Recruiting team, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting and communicating with the hiring managers in regards to finding best-in-class talent for BlueLinx.
In this role, you will lead full cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing passive candidates, utilization of job boards, creating funnels and providing a solid candidate experience.

Responsibilities:
Daily Business Focus:
Full life cycle recruiting activities for identified branches.
Many of our roles are hourly positions where the candidates will be looking for a long-term opportunity.
Strong communication and collaboration with BlueLinx hiring managers throughout the process to ensure that we are providing the appropriate candidate slates.
Develop a relationship with our Branch Leadership team and our potential new hires.
Coach first time manager and hiring manager on the appropriate BlueLinx hiring process.
Comfortable working in a virtual environment where you are evaluated by results and how you make those around you better.
Assist in the creation and enhancements of interview scorecards, interview guides, conducting virtual interviews and defining best practices.
Desire to expanding HR Knowledge - Onboarding, training, background validation and HR Metrics Reporting.
Track and consistently report on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, and pipeline of candidates.

One years of high volume full-cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting.
Good opportunity to expanding your recruiting foundation.
Hiring DOT Drivers a strong Plus.
Experience with ICMS / similar applicant tracking systems and candidate dispositioning.
Confident in identifying passive/active candidates.
Strong Time Management skills.
The recruiter will monitor their schedules and prioritize their own needs.
Solid communication skills - phone, written and verbal.
Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and result focused.
Understand the importance of social media from a recruiting perspective and love the challenge of finding the right talent.
Sense of urgency and resiliency.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
