Our Default/Performing Servicing team strives to help our customers achieve, maintain and sustain homeownership by advancing responsible servicing practices, focusing on the customer and striving for operational excellence.
This position is for an Operational Risk Consultant 2 in the Servicing BCP office, which provides oversight and guidance to approximately 80 individual business units.
The qualified applicant will provide supplemental training in the system of record, Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS) as well as consulting on methodology questions, alternate recovery strategies, risks, etc.
In addition to the day to day responsibilities, individual will be responsible for leading integrated walkthroughs, and facilitating table top discussions, at various sites with attendance averaging between 20 - 80 individuals.
Selected individual may also be responsible for creating and conducting training not available through the Learning Center and may also be responsible for maintaining internal BCP plan.
Will work very closely with our partners in the business, RECOR and Enterprise BCP.
Basic
Qualifications: 1
years in compliance or operational risk mgmt. (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk) and 1
years in one or more of the following: compliance, operational risk mgmt., IT systems security, business process mgmt. or financial services, or a Bachelor's or advanced degree in business or economics.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to lead complex calls
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to build and maintain positive partnerships, and work collaboratively, with multiple lines of business and levels of management
High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet principal accountabilities with limited direction and oversight; prioritize and organize work with limited supervision while still meeting deadlines
Travel, primarily February through October, 1 - 3 trips per month
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills:
Broad Servicing cross-functional experience
Experience working with cross-functional teams
WF BCP Oversight Certification or WF BCP Implementation Certification, or national certification
Confident public speaking
